Since the Covid epidemic we are very vigilant in making sure the center is kept clean , disinfecting throughout the day daily. I feel that when we allow shoes to be worn in the center it brings in off the bottom of your shoes from the streets germs, germs, germs. It is for this reason we are aligned with Japanese, German and Muslim cultures in having all staff and children remove their shoes upon entering our facility. Each child and staff member has a shoe cubbie to deposit their shoes with their name assigned to it and the children wear socks while inside the building .They do wear their shoes when on the playground and for pre -scheduled fire drills. However in case of a true emergency we will NOT worry about the shoes and just make sure the CHILDREN are out of the building safely. Adults who enter the center and wish to hang out for more that 10 minutes are required to use shoe coverings (provided at the door entrance) on their shoes or remove their shoes to enter the facility.

"Our Eco- Infant Room Is Different"

Our center has evacuation cribs with wheels in case of an emergency that requires us to leave the building quickly in which case we may lie more than one baby securely in a few cribs to expedite exiting the center quickly.

We are an ECO friendly center and do not use pampers or plastic diapers to fill up the landfills in our cities. Cloth diapers are required  for your child and are checked for soiling every hour , with a diaper log filled in for your viewing if needed. Diapers and training pants are cleaned daily and put back in your child's cubby. They will wear rubber pants and we will use diaper pins or snapped cloth diapers .Your child's name will be written on THEIR diapers and they will not share diapering items. If you wish to bring your child in a pullup or pamper this is ok. We will remove the plastic diaper upon arrival and put on the cloth diaper etc. Our center is old fashioned and we have always had more success  training a child to use the toilet using cloth diapers and training pants. We  ask parents to purchase the thick training pants and 5 pairs of rubber pants  for their 1-3 yr old not yet trained who is in training,  to assist us in potty training your child. We will make sure their name is on all their training items. If you wish to have a pullup or pamper put on your child at dismissal time please let their teacher know and around what  time you plan on picking up your child and we will make every reasonable attempt to put a clean one on  them for you. Parents however are responsible for providing the diaper or pull up (one)  for Mon-Friday so we can accommodate your request.

​Formulas for babies and baby food must be labeled when feasible so we know which formula belongs to what baby. Please check the "USE by" dates on the containers as we will NOT serve formula or baby food with expired dates. Please help us in keeping your baby safe.

"Sunscreen Notice" 

In the summer no sunscreen may be applied to a child without a written form on file giving use permission for application. We ask that you label the sunscreen with your child's name and write the name of the sunscreen on the form in case of an allergic reaction ( see center's sunscreen application permission form) . Sunscreen must be in its original store bought container only with labeling .We are not permitted to share bottles of sunscreen unless it is for children in the SAME FAMILY HOUSEHOLD.
